The New Hampshire Association of Insurance Agents (NHAIA), the states predominant association of insurance agents, announced its Board of Directors for 2012. Elections were held at the associations 112th annual convention held at Church Landing in Meredith, New Hampshire.
Ryan Towle, vice president of Davis & Towle Insurance Group of Concord, NH was elected chairman of the board. Mr. Towle was joined by Charles Hamlin of Infantine Insurance, Inc., as chairman of the board-elect and Bryan Bernier of Aspen Insurance Agency, LLC as vice chairman. Robin Logel, who heads marketing for Noyes Insurance Agency of Plymouth, NH serves as immediate past chairperson and Dean Merrill of Tobey & Merrill of Hampton, NH will continue to serve as New Hampshires national director to the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA).
The NHAIA 2012 board of directors also will retain 2011 members: Lewis A. Barnes from Kapiloff Insurance, Matthew Barrett of Barrett Insurance, Robert Bethel of Rowley Agency, Gregory Eastman of Hunkins & Eaton, William Infantine of Aspen Insurance Agency, Michelle Lamper of Melcher & Prescott Insurance Moultonboro, Christopher Sharpe of Ferdinando Insurance Associates, and Christopher Worcester of Hometown Insurance Agency. The NHAIA was pleased to welcome new members Barbara DeStefano of Peoples United Insurance Agency and Christopher Snow of Bernier and Snow Insurance.
Robert L. Nash, president of NHAIA, continues as the staff representative to the board of directors, and Thomas Minkler of Clark-Mortenson Agency, a member of the IIABA Executive Committee, will remain as liaison to the New Hampshire association.
Mr. Towle, who has over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, was pleased to accept the title of board chair.
